WOW, both are awesome !
I put them next to each other and though they look quite similar at first sight you did some important changes on this one, which gives it a totally different expression. It's even smoother than your first version now. Though ... I can't tell which is the "better" done one. So I will simply follow my emotions and make this version my today's +fav :) (Smile)

That's an awesome piece, and very original too, like a breath of fresh air. I particularly like the subtle hint of green, and how it blends in with the warmer colours, and the way the 2 dimensional background contrasts the 3D foreground.

Very very nice work.

Wow, nice and smooth kann ich da nur sagen. Schaut wirklich fett aus. Der Hintergrund schaut auch wirklich ziemlich nice aus und trotzdem gibt es irgendwie zentrale "Anhaltspunkte". Echt gut geworden! +favs

This is very nice, with great colors and design...the only thing is that some of the curved edges need a bit of antialiasing cause they are a little jagged. But other than that, great job on this...
